Who makes the logic 7 audio system, is it harman kardon and how good does it sound, I ordered it for my new 550.

oh man... If have never heard of Logic-7, you are not an audiophile.
You will soon find out what a GOOD audio system sounds like.
I was so imprest w/ my 545i SMG's Logic-7 system, I now have Harmon Kardon 7.1 system in my house. Let's just say that you jaws will drop when you hear it. Especially when I play a movie w/ THX sound
For the record, my wife's catz hates it. It scares the CRAP out of them and I just love that!!

Thanks for the info, I had heard that BMW was no longer using harman kardon, must have been bad info.

Don't know who makes it (I think HK) but OMG! it rocks and is worth every damn penny of the $1,800 or whatever it costs. Just picked up my '06 530i this evening and I'm blown away by this sound system. Enjoy.
