So when u guys negotiate pricing for ED, do u use the MRSP price and work down or use the wholesale (I'm guessing that's invoice) price and work up?

Wholesale with options plus fee gives you ED purchase price. I negotiated a fee independent of the car wholesale price.

You should not pay more than $2000 over wholesale (which is the same as invoice) for an ED car and you should not pay more than wholesale on any of the options. Many people do way better than $2000 over wholesale...
