on my 06 530 xi t ( just took re-delivery) i noticed on the on-board computer section within navigation that the mpg cannot be re-set. is this the case? i did figure out how to re-set mpg in the trip computer. does the onboard portion always calculate mpg for the life of the car with no way to re-set it? thanks!

I recently got into a 545i and was looking at the same problem. i found that if you push in and hold the button on the turn signal indicator that allows you to see different options it will reset. Hope this helps-Dave
