New 550I on BMW USA site
What do you guys think of the new 550I coming out soon? Am thinking of getting one and tuning it? Found that the car is quite heavy for a start. How much more power do you think one can get out of this car with some minor tuning? This price seems close to the new Audi RS4 due to hit our shores soon. If the price comes in pretty close with not much room left for tuning, I think I may stick with the new Audi RS4. Any thoughts?

Well, for starters, that is a very disturbing avatar you have there! 
Anyway, the engine is new...not very many have seen it so who knows how much (or how little) HP/torque BMW left on the table. And even if BMW did leave some tuning to be done, it will take a while to dredge it out for any of the tuners here in the states (Dinan, for example).
Yes, the V8s and even the M5 (V10) tend to be heavier in the front...compared to smaller-engined cars. Anyone who drives a 5 series 6 cylinder and then hops into a V8 can immediately feel the heaviness of the front end and "tossability" of the car. However, the mind-numbing torque makes up for the extra weight!
