Part of this question is probably covered before, but after searching the forums I could not find any satisfactory answers. So here it is. I'm getting my first new E90 this October. Its on order right now. I want to come up with a list of things that a person needs to do in preparation for receiving the baby. I have come up with a partial list (with some questions), but lets try to have a comprehensive list.

1. Get excited, you are getting something real nice.
2. Tell the dealer not to do the car wash when they get your car. (If so, how do I wash it for the first time, do I wait? with hand or a drive thru? use dawn or not? polish wax after first wash or let the paint breathe? If with hand, is there a first time wash procedure? Answers to these should be realted to first wash of the car, as there are plenty of links that talk about car washing, but no one talk about the first wash)
3. Tell the dealer not to put this marketing badge on my BMW
4. Order the cleaning supplies before the car arrives
