Questions RE: Purchase 530xi SportWagon Next week
My wife is really keen on getting the 530xi SportWagon next week. We are in Los Angeles.
Want these options:
Premium Pkg.
Premium Sound Pkg.
Steptronic
Sport Pkg.
Rear Airbags + Sunshades
Navigation
Considering:
Head-Up Display
Comfort Front Seats
Q. 1. Are these two options worth it, and what is the difference?
Payment options.
$25k deposit,
trade in 2000 528i,76k mi. good cond.
finance privately @4.9%
Q. 2. We can do any/all of these things to pay, which is the best way to get a great deal?
Q.3. Should we shop online? Local Dealer off the lot? Or Order the exact car from someone and wait for delivery?
We would appreciate any advice that you have on these questions. I purchased Vehicle Detail Report from that online place, and the "invoice price" is about $1k less than MSRP. What should I expect to pay?

Art | 1. In my opinion, comfort seats are without a doubt something you should get, esp. if you do a lot of driving. They are awesome.
2/3. Do European Delivery. It will save you as much money as it costs to travel to Europe and it is an amazing experience. You have to order the car to your specifications, which is the only way to get certain options like comfort seats. Try using one of the Bimmerfest sponsors, they'll give you a great deal.  Think in terms of XXXX over invoice for European Delivery purchases, which is already ~7% lower than non European Delivery purchases.
