September production changes for E60
Anyone have any comments concerning model changes in Sept. as reported by Adrian in the "Ask A Dealer" section? For me, Orient Blue is being deleted for Monaco Blue and Oxford Green is being deleted for Deep Green. These were my first and second choices for color to go w/Auburn interior. I saw an E90 Monaco Blue on a dealer lot yesterday and did not like it nearly as much as the Orient. Have not been able to see Deep Green to see how it compares to Oxford. Other production changes are interesting as well.

I can't imagine why BMWNA thinks that this package would crimp sales of the M5 in the U.S. while it is offered everywhere else in the world.

Pointing out the "new post" feature is a big help to me as I had never noticed it before!

I just looked at the sample in the brochure (colors on a computer are pointless), and it seemed adequately dark. My thought is that if green is your color, you should trust BMW to have a sense of decency in color selection--they are serious about their work. Blue seems to have more of a range in taste, though...I think you have to see it on the car.
Then there is my mother in law, who I must admit is pretty intelligent. She says it's like furniture: you choose what is logical and then adapt.

Try to find a 5er w/ a stick, or green, or comfort seats, or auburn interior- lots o' luck. We were really torn between the Orient Blue and the Oxford Green. Never could find a green. Finally Titanium Gray entered into the mix, but Monaco Blue won out as Orient was discontinued. We ordered ours w/6sp. manual, auburn interior and comfort seats. Not one of these features could we find on E60s at four local dealers. If you want a white, black, silver or gray vehicle with black, beige, or gray interior, you can find all you want.
