Price increase, does it affect ED program?

Hi all,

My first post in bimmerfest =)
Today I got a Press release on new pricing for the 2006 model (Sept Production), and I wonder if any updated pricings are released for the ED program (Sept production). It listed out the new pricing for US MSRP effective after September.

I check out the price list on top and notice the ED invoice was increased by ~300-400? But that seems to be fixing some pricing error (since that price sheet still has the pre-sept US MSRP)?

I am planning to get a 525i thru ED early next year so hate to hear the price increase, but wonder how that will affect the ED invoice pricing. At least there's some updates on the 5 series for post sept production which is nice to hear. Somehow the 525i has a higher increase ($700), vs the 530i (which is a $300 increase), maybe some more standard equipment on 525i than now?

Thanks!

See below for press release (which may be old news to you all =P)

Hi Kylechan, welcome to the 'fest. I haven't seen an official price list for ED, but I assure you that the price increased just as much for ED invoice as it did for US purchases. The ED invoice increase from earlier was indeed fixing an even earlier pricing error by BMW NA. Anyway, good luck with your purchase, and keep us posted over in the ED board as to your progress for your trip! Its the experience of a lifetime! If you're interested, my ED writeup can be found here:

Good luck,
