Did the search for red reflectors but no joy.....
I purchased the e60 rear reflectors yesterday. I recall reading about people using everything from dental floss to string to remove the old inserts. The new reflectors have a latch mechanism.
Please post your experience changing to the red reflectors....and thanks in advance.

See link above--I didn't have any fishing line lying around, so I used dental floss, doubled it twice. You need to use some force, jerk it toward you and the insert will snap out.

Thanks everyone, I should have no problems doing this. Wonder why I couldn't find it in search? Anyway, thanks again...now I just have to wait for the car to get back to CA.

The painted inserts are costlier so you guys with 05's and up keep 'em lying around in case someone wants to buy them.
