smg in the e60
Now that it appears that BMWNA has changed their mind regarding smg in the e90 are they going to discontinue offering it in the e60 as well?

| | Reply » smg in the e60 | SMG rollout on the E90 for US market has been put on hold. Due to marketing strategy BMWNA has decided to keep the SMG more "upscale and exclusive". There will be NO SMG on E90 for the NA market until further notice (My guess, 2 ~ 3 years from now). That's from the a BMWNA memo to all dealers.
For now, you will see SMG on 6/5 series, Z4, and M model cars. That is all.
