I hope someone has the answer. I have tried to look through all the thread to make sure I am not posting questions that have been answered, so if I am (I am sorry) I have just found out from my dealer that because my 530I is 2004 it is not compatible with any bluetooth technology. I am wondering if anyone knows of any bluetooth (third party) technology that can be installed into my car and if no how can I take advantage of the hands free system preferably for Blackberry. (cradle ok) thanks Versace |

Motorola makes a bluetooth car kit--check their website. Not sure if it will work in E60, but does in Porsches (which also have the MOST system).

I believe cars (with nav. ??) built after a date in April 2004, not sure exactly what date, have the proper TCU to support Bluetooth and can be upgraded to Bluetooth with a software patch.
I have a May 2004 545 with nav and had Bluetooth installed by my dealer. If you cannot get an answer from your dealer contact BMWNA.
