May sales of the 5 Series were down a significant 16.7% compared to May of last year. YTD sales for the first 5 months of 2005 were literally even with last year as they were up a microscopic 0.7%.
By comparison, sales of the Mercedes-Benz E Class were down 29.1% with sales of only 3,569 units this month and 5,034 units last May. Sales of the MB E Class were also down 29.1% for the first 5 months of 2005.

Mercedes has dropped to the lowest reliability and also their all inclusive maintenance program was dropped last year.
