Just bought an '06 525 through ED. It's on a ship somewhere traveling to the states. The e60 is for the wife, but I want a bimmer for myself. I'm going to lease the next one and am seriously considering a '06 330 for ED. Do you think the cars look too much alike to own both?

No, and actually, I think the E90 is a _much_ better design. The proportionality is better, the interior is laid out better, the trunk area is better; it's all better.
And this from a 545 owner.

I've driven the E90 and looked it over very closely......IMHO, the materials inside the E90 are of inferior quality... very plasticy... (if that's a word).
They also put those sleepy looking "heavy lidded" kidneys similar to the 6 series that I personally don't care for. It was however a pleasure to drive.
