Following the advice of this thread I went to bmwusa.com website to the Build Your Own 530xit. My jaw hit the ground when I saw that the M Retrofit kit was being offered for the E61  Suddenly, only being offered one E61 model doesn't hurt so much when I think about ordering my next touring with an M Retrofit kit and wheels. I realize you gotta be a touring lover to appreciate this, but this is AWESOME. |

The way I read It. It is a parts department Item ONLY. NOT a factory install  . But there is hope Maybe we are getting closer to FACTORY Option

I really like that look!
The E61 is already beautiful, but that really does it. Damn, a 535d Touring with that M stuff would be a dream to own ...

FYI, The M Retrofit kit comes primed and needs to be painted in the body color. Expect to pay over $3000 for kit/paint/installation....
