You know, looking at the photos in the link above the steering wheel is the M-Technick Sport wheel. I am wondering if this is a 2006 Sport Package change or if it is specific to the SMG transmission?

Do you get this steering wheel with the 2005 545i SMG???

The steering wheel shown is exclusive to the E60 SMG models. I have a '05 545i(SMG) and it has the same steering wheel.

I drove the 2006 530 at Tischer BMW in Silver Spring. It was great!! I don't have alot to compare it to since I am just buying my first BMW when it gets here at the end of May. Andy Alexis, my salesman, called to tell me they had one at the dealership. I would have bought except it was Silver Gray. The one on order is Jet Black...
