the HUD option on the car. I think that tops my list of must have options.

Hey Old Timers! You've all traded up!

When I drove Bernard's 545i, it seemed that the only regular information displayed in the HUD was speed and turn instructions. Is there more?
Hey Robert...I'm surprised you haven't traded up!

Yeah, the Nav only had speed and upcoming Nav data point. Its pretty cool though.

There is a menu in which you can select I think a total of four different things that can be displayed in the HUD. Speed, NAV, and I forget the other two! They need a tachometer on the HUD!

My time is coming, but I usually keep my cars a bit longer than most. The E90 in intrigues me, and the 530i is a possibility too. I learned my lesson in the 80s: never buy a BMW for one or two years after into. Now that the E60 is coming on MY #3, I'm considering it. That said, my E39 is a great car.

You can also have cruise control indicator displayed....it tells you the speed that the cruise is set for and you you can have check control messages displayed. I agree with Arnolds, the HUD is a great option. Thanks Beewang for talking me into it. At first I thought it was just a gimmick, but it really is great, especially if you have NAV.

Now, all I need is an interface for my Passport and Lidatek to display on the HUD!!!!!!
