I have a 2004 BMW 325i with factory installed navigation. For months I've had a problem with it losing satellites when the car is started. The entire time the vehicle is running it will never find a satellite. This normally doesn't present a problem because of the wheel sensors. But, when going out of town the sensors get off because of road changes and
freeway driving. So, I took my vehicle in for service and they seem to be completely baffled as to what it could be. I have shown them that it has no satellites (little pic in the top right is blank and in service menu error shows "COM error") at times (about 20-30% of the times the car is turned on) but they seem to have no idea what to do with it. I'd like to help them but I have no idea where to point them to. They kept it for several days and then gave it back to me saying they weren't sure what was causing it and to bring it back next time it does it. Has anyone else had this intermittent problem and know what fixed it? Thanks
