 Tinting - Rhode Island

I am moving to Rhode Island in about 2 weeks. I want to get my car tinted, but I need to know a few things. Where is a good place to get it done? How much should I be looking at paying? How dark am I allowed to get it tinted?

Anyone with info on this please tell me.

Thanks

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but just about any level of tint will put you over the legal limit in Rhode Island.

What do you do if you are set on getting your windows tinted? Wait until you get your car registered in Rhode Island. Go get your state inspection done, and then you'll be all set for 2 years. At that point, you'll have two years to not have to worry about your tinted windows and finding a way to get the car to pass inspection.

If you tint the windows first, I can assure you that you'll run into problems finding someone that will pass your car.

What about if my car is registered in another state? I am a resident of Texas and I plan on registering my car there, not in Rhode Island. So, where are some good, reputable places?

Side note...you should send me the address of your dealership. I'll need some service done when I get into Rhode Island.
