INFO: Extended Warranty, Good as CPO!!!
After doing a major amount of research I have found the ultimate 3rd party warranty, not maintenance but EXTENDED warranty for up to 60 months 100K miles, with no tax, 12 months payment interest free, and is in good standing with BMW at most dealerships. I can not post names or numbers due to issues with this insurance company, but I will be more than happy to share this info with anyone who wants to get an extended warranty on their car at a great price, as good as a CPO.
Contact me at mrieue@gmail.com and Ill send info for those who are interested.

I think if you do your homeowork you will see that some aftermarket warranties are superior in what they cover. Why do you think most dealerships don't offer the BMW ext warranty but offer a 3rd party?? | Although I agree with you that CPO is a gimmick,
I don't agree that the reason dealers are offering 3rd party warranties is because they're better for the customer. I think that 3rd party warranties (at least the ones I have experience with) are as another poster put it: worth less than the paper they're written on.
My gut feeling is that they're trying to offer you something that they have a higher profit margin on, so they can make a few hundred extra bucks on the transaction.
The same thing goes for CPO as well, it's just a way for the dealership to sell a used car to someone for more money than they could have before the whole concept of "CPO" came on the scene.
I don't think the dealership is looking out for the customer at all. They're in business to make as much money as possible.

| | Reply » INFO: Extended Warranty, Good as CPO!!! | Yeah third party warranties are a good deal.
Rooster and Bill need to be the guinea pigs and sign on the dotted line for a third party warranty.
| | Reply » INFO: Extended Warranty, Good as CPO!!! | The reason dealers sel third party warranties is simple, they make more money selling them.
| | Reply » INFO: Extended Warranty, Good as CPO!!! | Buyers MUCH prefer BMWs with warrantys due to reliability history with the brand. And a CPO warranty is arguably the best to a potential buyer.
Most CPO prices are way off high on dealer/autotrader websites, which i think gives them a bad name. Just go in there and fight
