BMW Group vehicle sales this July were up 11.4% when compared to last July. YTD sales for the first 7 months of 2005 were up only 2.4%.

Sales of the X Series were down 11.8% when compared to last July while car sales were up 18.5% relative to July, 2004 as the 5, 6, & 7 Series all had a strong month.

Sales of the BMW brand were up 7.9% this month when compared to last July.

Total MB sales of 20,791 units this month increased 9.6% when compared to the total of 18,962 sold last July. YTD 2005 sales for MB are down 2.2%. MB sales would have been much lower save for introduction of the 2006 M Class in April. Sales of the M Class were up 39.7% when compared to July, 2004.
